Eastcott House is a traditional stone farmhouse in South East
Cornwall. Now serving as a family home, a series of sensitive
interventions have been carefully considered to renovate the
existing dwelling to better adapt to the changing way of life
of the occupants. High quality, natural materials have been
used throughout to ensure the historic stonework is respected
and repaired where needed. Re-configuration of the plan
layout has improved circulation and increased the access to
natural daylight to the living spaces.
Works have included the re-design of the main stair, the
master bedroom, en-suite and dressing room, replacement
windows throughout and reinstatement of the historic entrance
arch. Design work for further internal renovations, external
landscaping and a new glazed extension are currently in
progress.
