Project 5 // 2026 - presentSchool House _ SkirwithExtension and renovation
Re-configuration of the ground floor layout to include a
new extension to a former School House in the Eden Valley.
The scheme evolved from working closely with the clients to
understand their requirements, while also working with the
spatial parameters of the existing building.
A small, mono-pitch zinc roof is inserted between the rear of the property and the existing stone outbuilding. The Kitchen and Dining spaces are moved to the rear of the house to benefit from the spatial layout and allowing more natural daylight into the heart of the plan.
